2015 Wayne County 4-H Air Rifle Invitational
PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE – December 19
This annual event will be held on Saturday December 19, 2015. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. with the event starting at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $5 per person or $20 for a team of four. Make checks payable to Wayne County 4-H Shooting Sports. The entry fee pays for awards at the invitational. The invitational is sponsored by the Wayne County 4-H Shooting Sports Program.
Please email Julie Tritz, 4-H Extension Agent by Friday December 11, the number of seniors and juniors who will be competing from your county. We will do our best to accommodate all requests for counties traveling far distances to the invitational. Please bring the completed 2015 Air Rifle Competition Registration Form to the invitational on December 19.
Rules & Guidelines
This 4-H event is open to all county Senior and Junior youth. Senior contestants must have passed their 14th birthday and may not have passed their 19th birthday as of January 1, 2016. Junior contestants must not have passed their 14th birthday on or before January 1 of the current 4-H year. Both Senior and Junior Teams are composed of 3 or 4 individuals. The high three scores for the day will count toward the team score. If there are 4 members to a team, the low score for the day will be dropped.
Counties are responsible for: travel, meals, lodging, and insurance for their leaders and youth. Please bring health forms for all contestants and leaders and if media release forms are not secured, please indicate this on the Registration Form.

The 2014 Wayne County 4-H Air Rifle Invitational was held on Saturday January 11 at Wayne High School. The event featured about 40 youth from local JROTC teams and 40 4-H members from six counties across the state. Many thanks to all the Wayne County 4-H volunteers who made this annual event a huge success.
